FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

How do I send feedback or report a bug?
Type /feedback right inside the bot. Your message reaches the AIQual team with your Telegram ID (useful for follow-up). You can also write to contact@aiqual.ai.
The bot stopped responding, what do I do?
Three things, in order. First: type /help — if you get a response, the bot is running. Second: check that you haven't muted Telegram for this conversation. Third: if nothing works, write to us at contact@aiqual.ai.
The AI coaching takes a while to respond?
That's normal. Coaching runs on a locally hosted Ollama model (not OpenAI, not Anthropic). We gain privacy, we lose 5–15 seconds depending on the load. The trade-off seems worth it — let us know if it's slowing you down too much.
How do I add a due date to a task?
Add -deadline followed by a date to your task.
E.g.: /t Send quote -deadline friday
Accepted formats: tomorrow, day after tomorrow, monday…sunday, May 15, 25/04.
The bot reminds you automatically every morning at 9am (Mon–Fri).
My calendar isn't updating?
It depends on your app. iPhone/Mac refresh every 15 minutes by default (adjustable in Settings → Calendar). Google Calendar only refreshes every 12–24h — that's a Google limitation, not the bot. Tip: open the .ics link directly in your browser to verify the task is there.
Is there a message quota?
No strict limit on local commands (tasks, calendar, coaching). For external requests — crypto prices, Perplexity search — fair use applies: ~200 requests/day. More than enough for normal usage.
How do I change the bot's language?
/lang fr, /lang en, /lang de, /lang it. Auto-detection stays active: if you write in English without changing the language, the bot adapts on a per-message basis.
Where is my data stored?
All your data (tasks, memos, ideas, history) is stored on a server in Switzerland, in an encrypted PostgreSQL database. Nothing is hosted on public cloud (no AWS, no Google Cloud). The server is operated by GR2 SA, a Swiss company.
Are my messages read or used to train AI?
No. Your messages are never used to train any model. AI coaching runs on a local model (Ollama) — your data never leaves the server. For Perplexity searches, only your question is sent (no history, no identity). OpenAI calls use store: false — zero retention.
Is this GDPR / Swiss DPA compliant?
Yes. TaskMaster complies with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the GDPR. Data is processed solely to provide the service. No resale, no sharing with third parties. You can request deletion of all your data at any time via contact@aiqual.ai.
How do I delete my account and data?
Send an email to contact@aiqual.ai with your first name and Telegram ID (visible in /help). We delete all your data within 48 hours. This is irreversible — tasks, memos, history, everything is erased.
Who operates TaskMaster?
TaskMaster is developed by AIQual and operated by GR2 SA (CHE-141.902.113), a Swiss company. Contact: contact@aiqual.ai.
Is it really free?
Yes. Tasks, memos, ideas, calendar, coaching — everything is free with no limits. AI searches (Perplexity) have a fair-use of ~200 requests/day. We plan a premium tier with advanced features, but the core bot will remain free.
